With a focus on pattern making that uses the technical and performance properties of various fabrics for specific end-uses such as sports, recreation, survival, and protection, you will be introduced to advanced pattern making techniques geared to the outdoor sports enthusiasts. You will be introduced to new fibers, fabrics and trims and learn how to apply specific technical construction techniques to build performance garments.
Pre-requisite: Successful completion of The Cut’s Pattern making Basic Two-Week Intensive course, or equivalent. Intermediate knowledge of sewing is required to understand how patterns are converted from paper to actual garments.
